For six years now, ‘The India Forum’ has been a space for thoughtful writing on the issues that matter to all of us. On our pages, you’ve read leading commentators as well as fresh voices writing on a wide range of subjects.

We’ve been able to do this only because we are independent—free from corporate, financial, or political ties. We don’t play the clickbait game and we do not carry any advertising. That means our focus is always on you, our readers, and on keeping this space open for everyone.

But to keep going, we need your support. Our yearly budget is Rs 60 lakhs which is Rs 5 lakhs a month to cover everything—web hosting and upkeep, payments to authors and photographers, software subscriptions, and salaries. Our campaign is to raise Rs 30 lakhs to cover 6 months of expenses.
